'Santa Claus is Coming to Town' es uno de los villancicos en inglés más clásicos de las Navidades. La letra fue escrita por John Frederick Coots y Haven Gillespie y data del año 1934.

La canción cuenta con un centenar de versiones de cantantes famosos desde Harry Reser, que grabó la primera que se conserva. Después le han seguido Bruce Springsteen, Luis Miguel, Frank Sinatra, The Beach Boys, Neil Diamond, Mariah Carey, Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber, Rod Stewart o Michael Bublé.

La letra del villancico es sencilla y pegadiza por su estribillo, narrando la llegada de Papá Noel a la ciudad y su reparto de regalos.
